Drew Burchard is Head of Digital Banking for Santander US, where he leads product strategy, platform development, and digital banking innovation initiatives, including Openbank US.

With more than 15 years of experience spanning banking, digital experience, product development, strategy, and financial services, Drew has held leadership roles across consumer banking, deposit and lending businesses, product development, finance and strategy, and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to Santander, he served in several senior leadership positions at Union Bank, including Head of Consumer and Small Business Deposits, Director of Unsecured Consumer Lending Strategy, and Director of FinTech Portfolio Management. Earlier in his career, he was a Senior Consultant at Deloitte, advising Fortune 500 and financial services clients on strategy, financial analysis, and operational performance.

A Certified Public Accountant, Drew holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in professional accounting from the University of Washington.
