  • The bank is running new editions of its global talent programmes for students and recent graduates.
  • Applications are now open and will be until the end of April and May on the Santander Future Talents

Banco Santander will take in over 400 young people in 2026 through its ‘Santander Future Talents’ international programmes, which are one of the Group’s main ways of attracting and nurturing young, talented people the world over.

These opportunities come in the form of two initiatives: the Graduate Program and Summer Internship Program, where participants can work in such global businesses and areas as Santander Corporate & Investment Banking (SCIB), Wealth Management & Insurance, Retail & Commercial, or at the bank’s headquarters.

The Santander Graduate Program targets recent degree or master’s graduates and offers a one-year stint in multidisciplinary teams based in several markets. This gives programme participants a global view of the business and the chance to learn crucial skills they can use in the future.

The Summer Internship Program is for students in the penultimate year of their degree or first year of a master’s degree and offers them an immersive, eight-week summer internship working on strategic projects in numerous areas of the bank and markets.

Regarding the Santander Graduate Program, the bank has 130 positions open in six countries for the Retail & Commercial business and at its headquarters. Anyone who wishes to apply will have until 31 May and 26 April, respectively, on the Santander Future Talents website.

Moreover, applications for the 260 places available on the Summer Internship Program and Graduate Program for SCIB and Wealth Management & Insurance will open in August and September.

The People, Culture & Organization and Universia will oversee selection to spot and attract the best young talent with an international outlook.

Through this initiative, Santander reaffirms its commitment to young talent, employability, and the link between universities and businesses globally, as well as helping develop a new generation of professionals and driving more innovative and sustainable banking.
